Grasslands & Savannah was founded by Enahoro Edgal in 1996 as a holistic fair-trade lifestyle company specialising in ethically produced, natural skincare products and handcrafted furniture from Africa.

Grasslands & Savannah’s skincare products are 100% alcohol, synthetic chemical, animal, preservative and petroleum free.

A totally ecologically and vegan holistic skincare range.

“Nature is the Ultimate Chemist” and with this in mind that Grasslands & Savannah developed their skincare range, from wild harvested plants. Most of the ingredients are from the wild African rainforest.

The base ingredients of the moisturisers are shea butter, coconut oil and kernel oil. These help increase cellular blood circulation, re-oxygenate the cell tissues and improve the elimination of metabolic waste, which induces a state of cell rejuvenation and renewal to whatever part it is applied. In simple words, it is a natural healing and anti-ageing skincare system.

The base ingredients of the washes is cocoa-pod ash. This is left to ferment for between 6 months and 5 years, a process which turns the cocoa-pod ash into a potash, a form of cleansing alkali. The products have had positive results on clinical challenged skins, from Psoriasis, eczema, cystic acne and other forms of skin blemishes.

Grasslands and Savannah’s Equatorial Body Washes and Moisturisers are handmade from finely tuned recipes, personally developed by Enahoro Edgal. The products are truly beyond organic, and defy perceived concepts of Western body care.
